Sunday Riley and SK-II are my two top picks for the Fall Sephora Savings Event. I feel a bit boring this year because they’re both skincare but gone are the days where I’m eyeing my next colorful and boldly packaged eyeshadow palette. I just have too many at this point as you can see here.

Item # 1, the Sunday Riley Good Genes, is my holy grail skincare product that I’ve been using for at least the last 5 years if not more. I’ve gifted this product; I’ve faithfully restocked this product. I will try new skincare only to return back to Good Genes. If you are looking for a new skincare product to try and your skin is like mine: sensitive, dry/combo, some visible fine lines, bumps on the side of the cheeks, and redness, I think you should pick this one up! I use Sunday Riley Good Genes at night after I tone and right before I moisturize. It feels so amazing to wake up to hydrated, bright, baby soft, and texture-less skin in the morning. I especially love this for my 20-something friends. The plumping action erased the line in between my brows before I turned 30. Now, Botox is a little more effective for those pesky “1-1s”.

Item # 2, the SK-II Brightening Serum Facial Treatment (2 Pack), is a treat-yourself-without-breaking-the-bank buy. I just started using these masks and I’m a big fan. The sheets themselves are basic but the serum packs a punch. If you’re curious about SK-II’s Pitera Essence, this is a great way to try it for yourself without investing in the larger product. I’d recommend the SK-II Brightening Serum masks for dry/combo skin with uneven tone. This is amazing for long flights and long weeks. Your skin feels so refreshed and glowy afterwards! The essence does smell funny though.
